Diabetic Retinopathy(DR) is one of severity complications of the Diabetic Mellitus(DM). At present, the treatment has no the breakthrough in clinic. The prognosis of DR depends on discovery of the DR's fundus pathological changes and treatment in early stage. The fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) is the major diagnose method of DR at present. The aim of this study is to investigate the various shows of FFA of DR in early stage under the guidance of tutor. After we summarized the concerned documents of early stage diagnosis and classification of DR, and observed various shows of the FFA of early stage DR. The classification DR in early stage was compared to the Differentiation in TCM. In this study some suggestions of modification the whole nation DR classification were put forward.Part I Literature ResearchWe have reviewed the domestic and oversea documents, and summarized the diagnosis and classification of DR in early stage and discussed the clinical effect and significance of FFA in the diagnoses of DR in early stage.Part II Clinic ResearchAims: To investigate the relationship between the various shows of diabetes retina fluorescence angiographys in early stage and differentiation in TCM.Methods: 100 cases (184 eyes) of DR in early stages were divided into three groups according to the differentiation in TCM: YinXuNeiRe(53 eyes), QiyinLianXu(69 eyes) and YinYangLianXu(62 eyes). There also were divided into center type (43 eyes), midperipher type (27 eyes) and mixed type (114 eyes) group on the basis of FFA. Ratio of DR types, visual acuity and TCM syndrome types were analyzed. Results: Incidence of the mixed type (61.9%) is higher obviously in 184 early stages DR's eyes than the other types. The ratio of YinYangLingXu syndrome is 69.8% in the center type DR. The ratios of TCM syndrome types in the center type group, the midperipher typegroup and the mixed type group have a significant difference (P<0.05). The visual acuity of the three groups has a significant difference (P<0.01). There are 34 eyes ( 18.74%) only show capillary expand among the FFA in 184 eyes. Conclusions: Incidence of the mixed type is higher among the DR in early stage, visual acuity in the center type is the worst. The center type is mostly YinYangLianXu syndrome, and develops faster. The midperipher type is easily made a wrong diagnosis and is examined by mistake. The capillary expand occurs before microaneurysm in the retina pathological changes in early stage DR. Proposes to add the content of concerned FFA in DR's The Whole Nation Stages Standard and put forward to revise and replenishes to propose.
