Medical Image Reconstruction And Its Application

Three-dimensional reconstruction of medical images is one of the important domain of visualization in scientific computing. In this paper, we discuss the methods of 3d reconstruction and display of medical images. Development of direct volume renderings is introduced in this paper. After compare the characteristic of these method, we use ray tracing algorithm to render the volume data, in order to shorten the time of rendering, some method is used, for example, early ray ending.Finally, this paper introduced a program of 3d reconstruction and display of medical images, we uses YC++6.0 tools developed this program under Win98 environment.
