Successive Approximation Spectrometry method has been developed and it has been studied in application of compound preparation by compound APC tablets and Andoyne tablets. The collection of date for each medicanient was made on Complete Combination Experiment Design and Orthogonal Experiment Design at several sensitive wavelengths respectively, at which the absorbance changed rapidly with the content(s). The datebase of Concentration-Absorbances for each medicament was made. The absorbance of unknown samples at same wavelengths was searched from the datebase which has been made. The content of unknown sample was determined by searching and correcting. The Concentration-Absorbance of compound APC tablets was made on Complete Combination and Piecewis Newton-Interpolation Experiment Design method respectively. The Search method and Correction method was made on residal sum of squares which were minimal. Contents of compound APC tablets were determined by using above tow method. Recovery of Aspirin, Phenacetin and Caffeine were 100.1% and 100.2%, 100.2% and 100.2%, 100.0% and 99.6%, and RSD1.0% and 1.3%, 1.0% and 1.3%, 0.4% and 2.3% respectively. The Concentration-Absorbance of Andoyne tablets was made on Orthogonal Experiment Design and Lagrange-Interpolation method respectively. The search method and Correction method was made on residal sum of squares which were minimal. Contents of Andoyne tablets were3A1~Th ACTdetermined by using above tow method. Recovery of Aniidopyre,Phenacetin, Caffeine and Phenobarbital were 100.6% and 99.6%,100.5% and 99.7%, 100.3% and 100.0%, 100.0% and 98.2%, and RSD1.0% and 1.1%, 0.7% and 1.2%, 0.7% and 1.9%, 0.5% and 1.9%respectively.In addition, HPLC method was developed for determination of Compound APC tablets and Anodyne tablets and compared with above Successive Approximation method. The results showed that there was no significant difference between them. So Statistical-Simulation Spectrometry-Successive Approximation method was proved to be accurate, simple and quick. It can be applied to analytical work.
