Clinical Study on Effect ofSemianted Pulsatile Microcurrent Therpy onFailure and Prolonged Bone HealingSpeciality:Fracture and Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Trauniatology of 1CMAuthor:Zhang ZhenengTutor:Professor Bi RongiuBasing on the modern medical theory, combining physical and biological method ,designed semianted pulsatile microcurrent therapeutic instrument, studied the failure and prolonged bone healing in clinil view and discussed the promoting healing mechanism from the view of biophysics and cellular biologics. Proposing that stimulating the fracture and by pulse current could promote the information of callus. The clinical effect was good, it was another convenient and reliable method for failure endproionged bone healing treatment. There were 36 cases being observed ?of which 32 cases acquired bone joint and 4 cases faiiured .Neocallus genually emerged in 1 month of electric stimulating, bone end joint and fracture line disappearing in 2? month, the efficiency had difference between the treatment group and control group (P>0. 05). Comparing the treatment group with control group, the former needed shorter time (PKO. 05) and wounds were weak. The benefit of the method lies in: (l)The instrument uses integrated oscillating circuit, with 3V low voltage directed current power, outputting 2. 2V singlehase internal geared ware,which is portable and the function is stable and reliable. (2)Negative pole use semi?anted~ pattern,the pulsatile microcurrent may persistently, efficiently, periodically stimulate the fracture end, and made the end producing biological effect swiftly, which promotes the fracture healing. (3)During the therapy, external immobilization innobilize with splints or external fixators more frequently, in the same time enhance the wounded limb functional movement, effectively prevent rigidity of joint. (4)The current is constant, precise, enduring and convenient in regulating and controlling, give the fracture end stable and effective nsti, ulating, promote ostegenesis active. The method paves a new way for the treatment of failure and prolonged bone healing.
