| We have developed benzopyranyl indole derivatives, which are potent cardioprotective agents. From this study, we synthesized optically active 1 -[3 ,4-dihydro-2- dimethoxymethyl-3 -hydroxy -2-methy I-6-nitro-2 H- I -benzo pyran-4-yIl-2 ,3 -dihydro- 1 H-indole-2-carboxyhc ester derivatives and evaluated potential cardioprotectives and vasorelaxant potencies through KATP channel opening. Among the compounds synthesized, the 4b 2 (2S,3R,4S,2扴) and 4f (2R,3S,4R,2扲) showed most interesting profiles, which represented good antiischemic effect on ischemic isolated rat heart model(langendolff model) and myocardium damaged rat model and lower vasorelaxant potencies on methoxamine contracted rat aorta. |
