Objects:This paper describes the clinical effect and mechanism of GanPiNing Capsule on irritable bowel syndrome. Method: Forty patients were treated with GanPiNing Capsule, the efficacy was compared with that of 20 cases treated with loperamide and smecta as control. Results: GanPiNing Capsule could improve such symptom as abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distention, bad appetide, inertia, et al. The capsule also could extend 50%TGITT and 50% CTT on patients suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. The effective rate of GanPiNing Capsule was 90%, and symptom improved rate of GanPiNing Capsule was 87.01%. Conculusion: The mechanism of GanPiNing Capsule was related to regulating the function of vegetative nerve, and improved the kinetic function of gastreintestine.
