Studying for the features of the syndrome and treatmentof 781 cases in cardiovascular diseaseSpecial4y : Medicine of Tiizditional Chinese MedicineStudent: Dong Yu shanTutor : Prof. Ding Shu wenAccording to the reviewing investigation of 781 cases in hospital of cardiovasculardepartment in the affiliated hospital of Shandong University of TCM in the near 10 years and the systematic research of treatment in cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, angina pectoris and myocardial infarction of coronary heart disease) combined with the ancient and modem documents it is believed that tire attacking of cardiovascular disease in winter and spring accounts for 60 percent or so; The family history has closely related to the cardiovascular disease (hypertension makes up 54 percent, coronary disease makes up 25 percent); Among the cases being addicted to smoking and drinking accounts for the large proportion over 25 percent and about 20 percent respectively; Mental workers make up 40 percent or so and they are the most proportion in the eases; The summit of hypertension attacking is after 35 years old and it is 10 years earlier than that of coronary disease. The characters in syndrome and treatment are as follows:In 292 cases of hypertension the types of syndrome in TCM are ordinarily as excessive nse of liver ?yang (40 percent), deficiency of the liver ?yin and kidney ?yin (27 percent), deficiency of yin and hyperactivity of yang (25 percent), excessive accumulation of phlegm ?dampness (23 percent), deficiency qi complicated with blood stasis (12 percent), insufficiency of both qi and yin (6 percent). The syndrome of deficiency of qi and the stagnation of blood is the new feature of this disease. In 489 cases of coronary disease the types of syndrome in TCM are commonly as deficiency of qi and yin (41 percent), deficiency of qi complicated with blood stasis (39 percent), excessive accumulation of phlegm ?dampness (36 percent), retention of phlegm and blood stasis (17 percent), stagnation of qi and blood stasis (11 percent), insufficiency ofheart yang (5 percent). Among 401 cases of suffering from angina pectoris the syndrome of deficiency of qi and blood stasis accounts for 42.39 percent and among 88 cases of suffering fivm myocardial infarction the syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin accounts for 68.18 percent which occupy the first place of each group. It indicates that heat syndrome makes up about 60 percent in cardiovascular disease accoiding to the research. Among prescriptions of treating the disease of hypertension the recipes coming from calming the liver, suppressing yang and stopping the wind account for 66. 6 percent, which is one of the most common therapeutic methods. Recipes of clearing away heal do 67 percent. Recipes of promoting circulation of qi and the blood do 18.17 percent. The using of the recipes coming from the therapy of promoting circulation of qi and the blood in treating angina pectoris account for 32.3 percent and supplementing qi and nourishing yin in treating myocardial infarction do 40.8 percent which are the most commonly used in the above diseases. The use rate of TCM drugs of elin駈ating the evils accounts for 73 percent in treating hypertension and 60 percent in treating coronary disease. Going into the channel of the liver in treating hypertension accounts for 65 percent and entering into the channel of the heart in treating angina pectoris and myocardial infarction does 58 and 62 percent separately. The use rate of drugs having the function of removing heat and toxin materials accounts for 50.3 percent and does 37.1 and 41.2 percent in angina pectoris and myocanlial infarction respectively. As a result we can conclude that the therapy of removing the heat and toxin materials is an important method in treating cardiovascular disease. The thesis provides a new thinldng and method in the clinic research.
