Fresh White Leather Ethyl Acetate Extract Against Experimental Gastric Ulcer

In order to investigate the preventive and curative effectsof ethyl acetate extract of Dictamnu (EAED) on experimentalgastric ulcer and chronic gastritis in the rats,we observed theeffects of EAED on seven kinds of gastric ulcer models inducedby acetic acid, stress, reserpine, pyloric ligation, pentagastrin,indomethacin and 100% EtOH ;we measured some biochemicalparameters such as the acidity,pepsin activity, gastric mucuseontent,amount of helicobacter(HP), SOD activity , MDANO and PGE2 content in gastric mucosa of rats .we examinedthe pathological change under the light microscope and theultrastructure of the gastric mucosal cells under the JEM(trans-mission electron microscope).The results are shownfollow :EAED could markedly advantage the healing of aceticacid-induced ulcer.The ulcer indexes of its three dosegroup(0.0009,0.00 18 and 0.OO36g/kg) were all significantlydifferent from that of control group (P
