Tangmoning Clinical Studies Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy In Patients With Beta-endorphin Levels And Electrical Nerve Physiological Effects

Objective: To investigate the effect of Tangmoning on plasma β-EP and nerve electro physiology of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods 50 patients with DNP were randomly assigned to 30 cases of treatment group and 20 cases of control group. There was not significant difference in state of illness, disease course, age and sex between two groups. Results to observe the level of clinical symptoms. FBG blood lipid CPR and plasma ~ β-EP, after Tangmoning treatment, the data show that plasma β-EP of patients with DNP was markedly lower than that of control group. There were significant improvement in clinical symptoms, plasma glucose, plasma β-EP and nerve conduction velocity. The treatment group was superior to control grouping improving nerve conduction velocity and the level of plasma β-EP. Conclusion It is suggested that Tangmoning can not only improve clinical symptoms and plasma β-EP but also prompt nerve conduction velocity. These indicate that Tangmoning can improve pain threshold of patients with DNP, have a better effect on killing pain and restoring of peripheral neuropathy.
