Objective To observe the effect of Bu Xu Hua Fang (BXHYF) on immune and bone marrows suppression, hemorheological indices of carcinonomatosis mice after chemotherapy. Methods To feed mice with BXHIYF from the first day of inoculation to the thirteenthday. To devide BXHYF into two dose groups -high dose group and low dose guoup. Meanwhile three control groups were set up including normal group, carcinoma group and chemotherapy group. CTX and Ara-c(l5Omg/kg) was peritoneally injected into carcinomatosis mice of high dose group, low dose group and chemotherapy group on the sixth and seventh day of inoculation respectively. To observe the influence of BXHYF on the cell cycle of bone marrows nucleated cell , I cell subgroups of peripheral blood by flow cytometor analysis system, and on hemorheology. Result (1) carcinomatosis tissues grew up in all groups that were inoculated. (2) CTX and Ara-c caused obvious decreasing of the cell count of S phase and increasing of the cell count of G, phase (pO.O5). (3) Chemotherapy markedly resulted in decreasing of CD+4CD-8 cell group and CD+4/CD-8 ratio, while CD-4CD+8 cell group increased obviously.
