Purpose: Established rat model of hind limb ischemia was observed Xuefuzhuyutang treatment of limb ischemia and ischemic tissue before and after treatment by VEGF, CD34 gene expression in serum secreted by the endothelial cell endothelin vasoactive substances (ET, Endothelin), nitric oxide (NO) content changes, to clarify Xuefuzhuyutang on the treatment of limb ischemia disease mechanism.Materials and Methods: Adult Wistar rats (200±20g) 32 pieces made of hindlimb ischemia model were randomly divided into two major groups: the experimental group and model control group and then divided into the sample collection time after 2 weeks 4 weeks two subgroups, each subgroup were 8 rats. In another 16 rats as controls. Experimental group, model control group at the same time modeling the normal control group without any treatment. Rats in the experimental group were fed after the success of both Xuefuzhuyutang, 14,28 respectively at the first blood and take the middle of the right hind limb adductor muscle tissue, detection of ischemic muscle VEGF expression in CD34 positive cells , model the experimental group and control group model of serum NO and ET levels in serum.Results: Blood circulation classic side Xuefuzhuyutang lower limb ischemia model rats can promote upregulation of VEGF expression, limb ischemia model of rat CD34 antigen expression, Xuefuzhuyutang can increase serum levels of lower limb ischemia the NO content, lower ET content.Conclusion:1. Xuefuzhuyutang can effectively suppress the release of ET to promote the release of NO, improve limb ischemia, inhibit the in vivo occurrence of local vasomotor abnormalities.2. Xuefuzhuyutang limb ischemia can increase the expression of VEGF and CD34, in rat ischemic limb angiogenesis.
