Abstract/Summary:
Purpose: The relation of vertebral arterial hemodynamics in 35 patients with subclavian steal syndrome (SSS) and stenosis degree of subclavical artery is researched. Through analyzing vertebral arterial bloodstream state and frequency spectrum form,we presume stenosis degree of subclavical artery. Material and method:35 patients with SSS are divided into three groups . Analyzed their vertebral arterial systolic velocity and the features of Doppler spectrum . Then 35 patients with subclavian steal syndrome had confirmed by clinic and coherence check. Results: Different three degrees of stenosis dued to vertebral artery Doppler spectrum occurring corresponding changes.①Compared by patients with light stenosis, the affected vertebral arterial velocity of systolic phase decreased obviously in patients with vertebral arterial moderate-to-severe stenosis and occlusion ( p<0.05).②Compared by patients with light stenosis, the non-affected vertebral arterial velocity of systolic phase increased obviously in patients with vertebral arterial moderate-to-severe stenosis and occlusion(p<0.05).③When light stenosis degree of subclavical artery, vertebral arterial velocity of intermediate-advanced systolic phase decreased, or velocity of systolic phase was backward ,velocity of diastolic phase was forward and forward direction was main.Vertebral arterial velocity of systolic phase appeard flight-indentation and the first hump was high-peaked then the second hump was toroid-mutic,winden requency band and full requency window. When subclavical artery was moderate-to-severe stenosis, velocity direction of systolic and diastolic phase were two-way,but backward was main. ⑤When subclavical artery was and occlusion, velocity direction of systolic and diastolic phase were backward. Conclusion:Through analyzing the vertebral artery hemodynamics changes and the features of Doppler spectrum, the degree of the subclavical artery stenosis can be judged.
