| Infectious mononucleosis (IM) mainly causes by Epstein-Barr virus. As people pay more and more attentions to IM, it seems have a rising trend. According to reports, the peak of the ages of the children attacked by IM is from 2 to 6 years old in developing country, while it is 10 to 20 years old in developed country. So it is in our country, Maybe it is concern about the date of rapid developing economy and the poor hygiene environment. In recent years, people found not only EBV virus can cause IM, besides, CMV, worm and HIV-1 also can. So some scholars call it MS which caused by Epstein-Barr virus, CMV, worm and HIV-1, and so on. In fact, IM is the most common kind of MS. The typical IM clinical triple symptoms are fever, angina, and lymphadenectasis. The laboratory examinations show for the increase of circumference blood lymphocyte counting and the heterogeneous type lymphocyte proportion. The EBV infection in the babies and infants many are the silent infection, possibly is because the babies and infants immune system not yet grows consummated, so it unable to produce the immunity result; In the school-age children and the adolescents it display for the infectious mononucleosis. Due to the dependence of laboratory tests, if the EBV-IgM and the EBV-DNA are negative, we may can negative the IM, However, we often neglect the MS disease's existence.At present, the western medicine treats of IM mainly depend on the antivirotic drug, like acyclovir, Ganciclovir, interferon and so on. But the medicine's curative effect is not explicit and they may cause a large drug side effects.But what Chinese traditional medicine emphasize is person's total perspective, in the diagnosis and treatment foundation, carries on the whole to the human body the recuperation, thus causes organism to be in the relative state of equilibrium. Through adjusting internal organs'function, it causes various internal organs function to perform its own functions, thus achieves the treatment goal. And Chinese medicine has little side effect. Therefore, how to adopt traditional Chinese medicine to treat to reduce its side is the most concerned topic at present. Through retrieving recent years' literature, we discovered that the literature reports related to MS are few, many reports are about the IM, but does not has diagnosing and treating standard about the MS. Therefore, it makes some difficulty for studying MS.This article has two parts, the theory discussion and the clinical research. We discuss the knowledge of IM from different angles. And discuss the difference about IM between western medicine and the Chinese traditional medicine. Through the treatment observation on 30 cases of IM in children, we may find the curative effect about IM which cured by the traditional Chinese medicine.1. Documents Study:This part has three aspects:first, the relevance about IM on the ancient Chinese traditional medicine literature; second, the cognition of Western medicine to IM; finally, the treatment by Western medicine and Chinese traditional medicine to IM.2. Clinical Research:Purpose:Observing XuRongQian professor using xiaochaihutang and wuweixiaoduyin to cure 30 cases of MS, we can find the curative effect on it.Methods:By using cross-sectional study method, we make an observation about curative effect on the curing of 30 cases of MS, which derived from Beijing University of Chinese medicine dongzhimen hospital, cured by xiaochaihutang and wuweixiaoduyin.Results:Xiaochaihutang and wuweixiaoduyin can obviously improve the pediatric syndrome of IM, such as fever, sore throat, lymphadenectasis. It also can reduce the number of atypical lymphocyte in Peripheral Blood. |
