Relinqing Granule In Treating Chronic Prostatitis Damp Heat Stasis In Clinical Efficacy Studies

Purpose:To observe the clinical effects of the Relinqing granules by the clinical study of the Relinqing granules treating the Chronic Prostatitis which is classified as the syndrome of stagnant dampness-heat.Methods:From our hospital's Department of Urology, We selected 51 patients suffering from chronic prostatitis which is classified as the syndrome of stagnant dampness-heat. Before being treated, we check and record the following findings of all people, that is, NIH-CPSI, TCM syndrome score, Urine routine examination, DRE, EPS-routine examination, B-us of prostate. Then all people have the Relinqing granules (8g, tid). All ones should return to the hospital for follow-up similar test at the fourth weekend after the treatment. We assess the therapeutic effect by observing the advance of the TCM Syndrome scores, the NIH-CPSI, the routine inspection of EPS after the treatment. All results are statistically analyzed with SPSS13.0.Results:In this study,49 patients are eligible. When taking the Relinqing granules for 28 days, there are 8 lucky ones who are perfectly cured,16 ones have apparent effect,20 patients are effective, and 5 patients are as similar as before. That is to say, the rate of clinically cured is 16.33%, the rate of apparent effect is 32.65%, the rate of having effect is 40.82%, the rate of ineffectiveness is 10.20%, and the rate of total effective cases is 89.80%. Before and after treatment, the difference of all observed indicators was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion:Clinical symptoms of patients, who are suffering from chronic prostatitis which is classified as the syndrome of stagnant dampness-heat, can be improved by using the Relinqing granule. The Relinqing granule can reduce the TCM Syndrome marks, the NIH-CPSI scores and EPS-WBC. The Relinqing granule is a safe and effective Traditional Chinese Patent Drug which can be extensively used for the Chronic Prostatitis.
