Can The Context Of Excess Iron And Steel Industry Enterprise Restructuring And Elimination Of Backward Production Capacity Study

Since the outbreak of the 2008 world financial crisis, China's steel industry has been on the emergence of various problems, including excess capacity, industry profit margins'declining, playing a subordinate role in the international iron ore prices and low industrial concentration ratio. Therefore, our government actively legislates iron and steel industry policy, trying to promote the process of domestic steel industry's corporate restructuring and the elimination of behindhand production to raise the industrial concentration ratio as soon as possible, and getting rid of the embarrassment which is caused by the number of enterprises out of the steel industry making policy measures difficult to imply. Although the policy is necessary for China's current steel industry, the process of the policy's implementation encounters many new problems and challenges. So we have to seriously consider the steel industry's worldwide background, the current situation of corporate restructuring and the elimination of behindhand production capacity, and the causes of the difficulties in the restructuring process, so as to easily implement the policy of corporate restructuring and the elimination of behindhand production to create more favorable conditions, simultaneity we will enhance the comprehensive strength of China's steel industry and the status of the territory in the international pattern of steel industry.This thesis bases the basic theory of industrial economics as analytical tools, combined with relevant research results on our local government behavior relying to development economics, government economics. In theory we analyze the mechanism of the formation of China's current steel industry over-capacity and the policies adopted by the government to resolve the many problems encountered nowadays, combined with the longitudinal trends of the steel industry in China in recent years and the horizontal comparison the world's major steel-producing countries. And from the viewpoint of industrial level this thesis will analyze our current policy's implementation problems on the corporate restructuring and the elimination of behindhand production capacity deeply, and explore the policy's implementation effect on China's steel industry, and draw the corresponding conclusions and reasonable suggestions for China's policy-making departments to refer to.
