A Ocean Shipping Company Crew Incentive Management

To face the complex and changeable international situation, the shipping company only has to improve its competitiveness, in order to be in the initiative, leading position. Currently, china shipping companies follow industry trends, generally, adopt the "boat people separation" management,but this management lead to another question which is the effective excitation of the crew. Shipping company's crew is divided into management-level crew, operational-level crew and support crew, the first two levels are considered as officer which is flowing, and is the scarcity strategic resources of each shipping company, the support crew quality is low which will lead to a problem in the excitation. But, currently, there isn't systemic research in comprehensive incentive of crew members at all levels, which provides the theoretical significance and practice necessity for this research.In this paper, A Ocean Shipping Company is as the carrier to study the incentive of crew. In this study, theoretical analysis, empirical investigation and logical research methods are adopted to complete the design of the A ocean shipping company crew incentive program. At the research path, firstly, to define the value and methods of the study, and the same within the study; secondly, analyzing the revelation of incentive motivation theory, based on Literature in motivation theory,on the problem of revelation crew; thirdly, investigated the A's status and problems of the crew incentive positively; Fourthly, with the problems found out, according to t the three levels of the crew, proposed the incentive program for crew at different levels in A company; fifthly, proposed complete protection supporting A company's implementation of crew incentive program;lastly, cleared conclusions and weaknesses of this studyThe implementation of research findings can not only solve the problem of A company crew motivation, but also provide reference for the crew incentive problem in the domestic industry.
