China's services export has made rapid development in recent years, and the growth rate of services export greatly exceeds the growth rate of world. From 1999 to 2004, China's service exports has burgeoning surprisingly, thus the average growth rate of China is above that of the world by 9 percentage, particularly in 2003, the gap reached 13 percentage. In 1982, China's service export accounts less than 0.6% for the share of world trade in services, ranking 34th in the world. While in 2005, the proportion had increased to 3.48%, ranked 8th.However, did China become the real strong trader? Compare with other countries, what's the real position of China's exports, especially for the trade in service? Is there any problem with China's export pattern? What are the factors impacting China's export pattern? How can we upgrade China's export pattern? These are the main contents of this paper. Thus, directed by the theory of economic growth and international trade, this paper mainly analyzes and studies the history, present situation and problems of China's export pattern. Then, we try to find the real factors impacted China's export pattern, and study mutual influence of those factors. At last, we suggest that China should put forward a sound market-based on the economic system, to upgrade China's export pattern through the accumulation of human capital, foreign direct investment, increased R&D investment and other methods.
