Lunan Economy With The Urban System Optimization

The city comes into being when social productivity and science culture develop to a certain level and when social labor tract division reaches some degree. It always develops unceasingly along with the development of human society. With the development of economic integration globally, informationalization and knowledge economy, the urbanization of our country enters a fast period of development. In the course of urbanization, the construction of urban system is not only an important theoretical and realistic problem, but also an important content of human geography research. Accordingly, the thesis takes Lunan Economic Belt in Shandong province as an example and tries to find out the structure of the economic belt. Hopefully, it is of some help to the development of Lunan Economic Belt.Except the part of conclusion, the thesis is divided into six chapters.The fist part of this thesis is the exordium. The author mainly introduces the concept of city and urban system, and the studies on urban system in China and other countries, and then puts forward the significance of the study.The second chapter analysis the development conditions of Lunan Economic Belt, including location conditions, resource conditions, cultural basic conditions, industry conditions, development opportunities and so on. Then the author points out the Lunan Economic Belt's strategic position in Shandong province.The third chapter elaborates the evolution process of urban system on Lunan Economic Belt.The forth chapter mainly studies the hierarchical structure of urban system in Lunan Economic Belt. Fistly, the author introduces the theoretical foundations about the research of hierarchical structure. Secondly, the author figures out the law of urban primacy, rank-size and fractal dimension of urban system in Lunan Economic Belt and points out the problems of the hierarchical structure of urban system in development. Finally, aiming for the problems, the author puts forward countermeasures to optimize the hierarchical structure.The fifth chapter researches urban spatial structure of urban system in Lunan Economic Belt. First of all, the author introduces the theoretical foundations and methods about the research of urban spatial structure. Secondly, the author makes use of the fractal theory to study urban spatial structure of 35 cities in Lunan Economic Belt and then points out the problems of the urban spatial structure in development. Finally, the author advances strategies to optimize the spatial structure.The sixth chapter studies the functional structure of urban system in Lunan Economic Belt. Above all, the author introduces the theoretical foundations and methods about the research of urban functional structure. Secondly, the author utilizes the economic-based method, combining with C.L.moore regression analysis, principal factor analysis and cluster analysis to classify the urban function of 35 cities. Then the author analyses the defects of functional structure of urban system. Finally, the author proposes optimal strategies to improve the urban functional structure.
