Income distribution has always been one of the most concerned essential topics about society, in the rare and cruel context of the financial crisis, the high social sensitivity of the income gap between domestic and international situation, which is escalating rapidly. At the current critical situation, how to safely and effectively solve our problems, in order to promote the development of the society and the economy, making the process harmonious? This thesis combines the results of these 30-years-reform and the characteristics of income distribution at present, to research and study this phenomenon and theory.Firstly, there are substantial data in this article, and has already analyzed the status of the income about our domestic residents. The data show that, since the China's reform, overall, the standard of our residents' income has improved step by step, at the same time, the trend that the disparity of income is more and more obvious. According to international criteria, the income gap has reached the edge of danger.Secondly, there is a rational analysis on the causes and reasons of the formation of our country's income gap. Income gap caused by many reasons. This paper highlights on the perspective of equity and efficiency, to analyze and discuss. Including the construction of the market mechanism and distribution system, the construction of labor market, how to improve the level of the income of the low-income groups', the standard of the welfare and so on. And there is the further study of the problem that income gap of urban and rural, and then gaining the conclusion of the main problems which exist in the area of income distribution.Thirdly, this paper bases on the domestic and international theories, practice and experience, and the reality of our country, explaining the Kuznets inverted U hypothesis via the economics, predicting the trend of income gap between short-term and long-term. On this basis, work out the solution, which is about how to solve the problem during the initial distribution, redistribution and the third distribution, in the new situations.
