With the VMI Supply Chain Management strategy, The supplier and the Manufactory be put on same background and work together for product design, forecast, production, logistic arrangement and the whole supply chain operation.In this article, first introduce the characteristic of EMS company and the main problem enterprise have meet in their daily operation, then introduce some content about inventory optimize. The main topic in this article will be EMS daily inventory control model and process. Considering the random demand of EMS company, we propose set up safety stock to meet the suddenly demand. During the VMI daily operation, we still have some process need to improve, and bring up the new SVMI model to prevent those Non-LEAN action happen. The purpose is to set up a new solution for the EMS company to do their inventory optimization and better control.In the end, there is one case for the SVMI model to be used in one of the EMS companies. We do the comparison before and after SVMI implementation to show the SVMI model's feasibility, efficiency. And this model can be considered as one solution for other EMS companies.
