Internationalization Of Chinese Commercial Banks Assessment

Nowadays, the globalization has become a general phenomenon. In order to strengthen its competitiveness, China's commercial banks have already started an international strategy. This paper mainly focuses on developing a concept model to evaluate the international status of China's commercial banks, and carry out the following researches:1. The author makes a mainly review of literatures, then discusses its advantages and shortcomings. Based on literature review, the life-growth theory is selected to study bank internationalization.2. Based on the background, we figure out three similar points between youth and china's commercial banks, which including increasing competitive pressure, the change of regulator the individual's own ambivalence. Then we come to the conclusion that the strategies which youths use to deal with their growth problem can be used by us for reference.3. Based on the theoretical analysis, the author divides this problem into two parts, the Business Internationalization and Model Internationalization. In order to conduct in-depth research, an evaluation model is built to evaluate the Business Internationalization level, which can be divided into the scale, growth capacity, anti-risk three parts.4. Based on the conceptual model, the author takes ICBC as an example of the state-controlled commercial banks and analysis its Business Internationalization and Model Internationalization. At last the author recommends the stage maker pay more attention to the Model Internationalization strategy.
