Differences In Technological Progress Of Regional Economic Development Factor Analysis

The problem of regional disparity is one of the key issues of Regional Economic and it is also the big problem of china's development in the context of fast developing. There are few people to argue this issue from the perspect of technology advances, though they have done a lot of researches on this argument. So this paper, basing on the results of other economists, discussing this problem uniquely from the view of technology advances. The impact of technology advances divides into two parts: technology innovation and technology diffusion.The first part of this paper is a review of other economists about the regional disparity and technology advances to economy development. In the second part, we have a review of the main theories regarding to this topic. The third part is an illustration of the status of regional disparity and the differences of technology advances among 29 provinces. The last part is the core of this paper, using Eviews 5.0 and the data of 1986-2006; we do an empirical analysis of this topic and discuss the results.
