With the rapid development of economy and communication in China, traffic jam has grown a serious social problem within most of large or middle cities that restricts their economy development. Being a developing port city, Qingdao Development Area (QDA) lies in a special geographic location, which determines its concentrate economy and social activities could affect a wide range of area. However, with strengthening construction ability of QDA's harbor and increasing throughput of QDA port, that brings high pressure to local communication, whereas also restricts the progress of the port itself. This is a common phenomena in consequence for all developed port cities. Thus, the effective way to resolve traffic problem of QDA is very important for local economy development and even for whole Shandong peninsula. Meanwhile, such effective method can be used for reference by other domestic port city.Actually, there are many ways either in theoretical or in technical terms to release the high pressure on communication of port city are quite mature at present. But most of them could not be put in practice for many reasons, such as artificial factor, capital factor, etc. This dissertation intends to find out a solution to release the communication pressure of port cities by means of facing present situation of QDA, combining major traffic jam cases, basing researches of QDA government on publich choice during communication management process and theories of communication demand, analyzing reasons of communication pressure accured in QDA. In this way, the pressure on communication could be effectively controlled and the throughput capacity of QDA port could be enhanced, which could favor the development of local economy and be a common reference. |
