| The 21st century, the urban agglomerations has become involved in the basic unit of economic competition. The formation of urban agglomerations is the results of a high degree of economic integration; the industrial restructuring and the rational distribution of productive forces and the resulting geographical division of labor and complement each other within of the urban agglomerations is consist of the basic conditions in the overall effect and comprehensive competitiveness. When urbanization process develop to a certain stage, the urban agglomerations is phenomena of space Re-organization in the region of specific geographical conditions; for changes in the spatial organization industries reorganization within the different levels of cities is the main content. So adjustment and optimization in urban agglomerations industrial structure and geographical division of labor become the decisive factor in urban agglomerations strength of strong or weak.Guanzhong urban agglomeration as the largest, strongest, the most widely affected in the northwestern region, its importance is self-evident. How to improve Guanzhong urban agglomeration's competitiveness become an important issue of the academic circles, a reasonable industry division and coordinated development is the key to enhance the competitiveness of urban agglomerations.This paper study in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration, synthetically apply theory of regional economics, urban geography, economic geography and other subjects, select Statistical Yearbook data in 2005 of Xi'an, Xianyang, Baoji, Weinan and Tongchuan five cities in Guanzhong urban agglomeration, emphasized study and analysis the industry similar level, regional industry structure similar level and industrial agglomeration level in geography in five cities; On this basis, select location quotient, industry specialization rate, compared labor productivity indicators and so on, comprehensively study coordination of regional industry division, put forward the program of industry coordinated development in Guanzhong urban agglomeration; According to the geographical distribution of industry in Guanzhong urban agglomeration, combines comprehensively advantage industries each city, put forward the program of advantage industrial concentrated belt about Guanzhong urban agglomeration.Primary conclusions:(1) Industries of larger the industry similar level accounted for about 70 per cent of total, which means that the most industries in Guanzhong urban agglomeration has industry similar problem in geography. Agricultural and subsidiary food processing industry, textiles industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, paper and paper products industry, plastic products industry, rubber products industry, oil processing and coking industry, chemical fiber industry, chemical materials and chemical products industry, non-metal ore products manufacturing, general manufacturing equipment, special equipment manufacturing, communication equipment computer and electronic equipment manufacturing industry are the largest industry similar level, these industries is precisely the most primary industry department in each city.(2) Regional industry structure similar level of the regional first level core Xi'an city and the regional second level core Baoji city is larger, industrial development of Xi'an and Baoji city are largely similar, urban functions are similar, division of labor is not clear, inter-city function relations is more to be optimized. Between the regional second core cities, Regional industry structure similar level of the Baoji city and Weinan city is larger. Between cities show more competition, not cooperation, this does not play the regional advantages, this is disadvantage to economic rapid growth.(3) Through measuring the industrial agglomeration level in geography, it showed that more than half of the industries in the state of geographic concentration, almost half of industries in a decentralized state, whole distribution of industry is more balanced, some industries showed significant concentration trend.(4) According to the geographical distribution of industry in Guanzhong urban agglomeration, combines industry specialization in each city and specialization development in Guanzhong urban agglomeration, industrial scale, industrial chain and products division, put forward that Guanzhong urban agglomeration should development automobile manufacturing, petroleum chemical industry, textile and clothing industry, foodstuff , Beverages, tobacco manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, non-ferrous metallurgy manufacturing seven industrial concentrated belts.The innovations of the thesis are illustrated as follows:(1) In research perspective, this paper inspected industry structure similar problem from perspective of the industry monomer and regional industry as a whole, the results better reflected the status of the industrial division in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration.(2) In research method, this paper used multi-related quantitative methods on industry structure similar in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration, used multiple indicators methods on analyzing comprehensively advantage industries each city in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration.(3) In research content, this paper studied both status of industry structure similar and phenomena of industry concentration in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration, unified the contradiction of the division and concentration, not only put forward the program of industry division, but also the layout of industrial concentrated belts, fulfill interests of industry division cooperation and industry concentration scale; this paper positively explored the basis of the industry division of labor from nature, infrastructure, history and culture aspect, supported a matting on the inevitability of the industry division in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration.(4) In research thought, this paper broke the traditional research thought of industry division, mainly used the intra-industry and intra-product division to coordinating industry division in the Guanzhong urban agglomeration, and put forward detailed development direction about similar industries, provided a more workable solution for industry coordination and controlling of government. |
