Shanghai Machinery and Electric Equipment Tendering Corp.(MEETC) is one of the greatest state-owned tendering agents in China, it is also has the greatest business and market share in Shanghai. In face of the gradual growth of the tendering market, competition becomes more drastic. The dissertation applies SWOT theory and core competitive power theory, takes the principles of integration macro-analysis and micro-analysis, integration quantitative and qualitative analysis. The comparative analysis with any other enterprises is employed to find the internal and external competitive power, then to study the internal reasons of success and analyze all the reasons from the view of market development to pose practical policies and suggestions pertinently. It has a great value not only on the theory, but also in practice about how to improve core competitive power and deal with the challenger under the keen market competition.The dissertation is composed of seven chapters in logical order. ChapterⅠis the preface, the purpose and significance of study on the competitive power of MEETC are clarified, the basic clue, theories and research methods are expounded; ChapterⅡintroduces the condition of tendering industry in China and the status of MEETC; In chapterⅢ, the SWOT theory is employed to analyze the competitive strength, competitive weakness, potential opportunity and threat of MEETC; ChapterⅣemploys the method of matrix analysis of SWOT theory and Analytical Hierar-chy Process to make further quantified system analysis about the internal competitive power of the company and poses the right market stratagem. In chapterⅤ, the core competitive power theory is employed to makes analysis and evaluation to the core competitive power of MEETC; ChapterⅥcombines the internal competitive strength and market stratagem to pose methods and suggestions to protect and train competitive power of MEETC; ChapterⅦis the conclusion.
