The Research On The Location Choice Of The Transfer To China Of Service Industry Fdi

Foreign direct investment mostly took place in manufacturing in the early time. But from the 1980s, the focus of FDI in the world began to shift to services,especially the development to serving trade in recent years, which made FDI in services to develop quickly and made them to become the new engine of FDI. Our service trade is always deficit in recent years, Chinese services should take this as a chance, and grasp the opportunity to attract FDI actively and safely to change the situation. In the cases, it is meaningful to study the location choice of global service FDI.Firstly the paper defines the service industry FDI and location choice, and analyzes the character and trend of this transfer and the reasons that caused this transfer. Secondly we analyze factors that may influence the location choice of this transfer on the aspect of economy, system and policy. Then we conclude the current situation of the location choice of service industry FDI.For empirical study, the paper takes the thirteen classic cities of China as an example. Firstly, we use the SPSS to analyze the factors that influence the location choice of service industry FDI in line, then use the method of main factor analysis, mark and order the thirteen cities'ability of attracting service industry FDI, and make related analysis, at last, make some suggestion on how to attract more service industry FDI for these cities.
