Information Technology (IT for short) has always been the important component and the sign of state's synthetical power. Responding to investment and financing, how to ascertaining IT enterprise becomes a focal point. And it is far to make an agreement as to where the appraisal picks up and what methods are used. So how to value IT technology industry and how to realize the new value administration make a focal study point in both appraisal and management industry.Concentrated on IT operating characteristics, the paper makes a detailed analysis of the corporate valuation theories and chooses real option theory and RIM theory as the theoretical foundation of research. And it makes the B-R valuation model through qualitative and quantitative research, analyses the sample data and draws conclusions.The paper is divided into background research, theoretical research and empirical studies three parts. The first part of the paper is an introduction on topics significance, research ideas and logical framework. Based on applicability of the theory and its relevant advantages and disadvantages, the theoretical research assesses comprehensive study, defines the meaning of value of the company and makes the theoretical basis of this study. Firstly, by the use of real option theory and RIM theory, Empirical research component obtains data on the basis of relevant basis data. Secondly by using SPSS13.0 linear regression analysis, it summarizes the preliminary BR weighted assessment model; Based on this model, the paper evaluates the overall value of IT industry and draws conclusions. By comparing the final three structural models and the applicability of the models for comparative analysis, the paper arrives at a final conclusion.
