With the fierce competition in construction industry and the establishment of modern corporation system, competition between companies become far more than partial competition, but competition of corporation's whole strength including corporation culture and corporation image. In such condition, construction companies especially need powerful corporation culture as support. Large construction groups, as the pillar of the whole industry, particularly need to strengthen their building of corporation culture, which is significant to enhance economic and social effect, and to raise competitive force of a group. Only in this way, can a construction group obtain its competition advantages.The thesis is based on the Fourth. Construction Engineering Company. In order to learn its cultural establishment, much research has been done, much material collected and a lot of professional practice with inquiry, and study finished. To reconstruct its cultural establishment, many analyses have been completed, which state set-up that it is backward weak and unreasonable. This dissertation discusses the meaning, character, structure and function of enterprise culture in brief. It analyses the main background of established enterprise culture of Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd, and analysis the current situation of establishing enterprise culture of Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd, and the problems the enterprise faces using questionnaires. At last, this paper combines with the enterprise cultures' principle and objective , studies from three points: spirit culture, system culture and action culture, visualize construct and enterprise information construction to construct its' enterprise culture.This thesis provides some useful reference and can be applied to the large/medium-sized state-owned construction enterprises on how to understand the present condition of cultural construction and further the cultural construction strategies.
