Along with the rapid development of domestic economy and tourism , as well as the convenes of 2008 Olympic Games and 2010 Shanghai world fair, the market has much stronger demand for economical hotels. The economy hotel is called the limited service hotel, which is one kind of hotel develops on the basis of the traditional full—service hotel foundation, strengthens the guest room function, and weakes ancillary facilities. It takes the populace, the commerce traveller and the students as the main target client, and takes clean, comfortable as the product characteristic.There is a upsurge of investing and constructing in ecnonmy hotel last ten years, it is represented by continuous appearance of the domestic econmy hotel management company and the successional entrance of the famous overseas brand. And now, the domestic market has ended the initiatory stage and stepped into the new fleetness development stage. However, a lot of restricted factors has been confining the development of the domestic economy hotel, and human resources is one of the most serious aspects. The coexistence of the developmental space and personnel blank.Under this background, this article study on the China's economy hotel through comparativing . Through the relevant theories of China's economy hotels and analyzes characteristics of the Chinese economy hotels, comparing the strategic choices, management, marketing, the organizational structure and human resources, brand-building, price and product strategy, the author finds the problems of China's economy hotels in management: promblem of the hotel industry management system and institutional; market positioning blindness, and lack of individuality; lack of strong marketing power and reservation network system support; lack of personnel and hotel brand awareness. On this basis, putting forward proposal of the local hotels participate in the international competitiveness.
