Huadong Area, where representative by Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, already formed a most developed economic area in China, furthermore, this area has nature ability to be a center of national wide retail business, consequently this area became a point of strategic importance for every retailer and they will take intense competition to take this area. By this meaning, this thesis takes Huadong area as its background and takes expanding circumstance of corporation as a subject. This point analyzing study on this market would help corporations to set long term strategies and it has meaning of analyzing on retail business model.It will start with introducing overall point of background, objective, basic mind setting and method of this study. Then it will analyze the external factor of expanding of Huadong and current whole sale market in Huadong area. During study market environment, it studies expanding status, competition situation and key point of success. Then analyze again scale of market, expanding in future as well as profitability. Then it will explain the expanding environment of whole sale market from the point of macroeconomics, then it will analyze situation of competitive corporations, mainly mention of potential competitors, substitutive competitors and current competitors, thus deduce the self-merit. After analyzing external circumstance, it will study internal circumstance of corporation and SWOT analyze, which give further explanation of status of corporation on expanding. Finally, as combining external and internal comprehensive environment, bring up expanding strategic policy for corporation, which take analyze on several points like; make a five years strategy goal, regional(Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang) market expanding plan, operation management and marketing, human resources.Conclusion is east china market have a big opportunity of growth, but competition is fierce. Expanding strategy make a scale economy and increase the competitive power.
