China's Textile Machinery Industry's Comparative Advantage And Competitive Advantage

The textile machinery is the textile industry means of production and the material base, and the technical level, quality and the manufacturing cost all directly relate to the development of the textile industry. "11th Five-Year Plan" is the critical period for China's textile industry from a leading textile producer to a leading textile power, in order to the transformation, it is the necessary condition to promoting textile machinery technical level and enhancing the textile machinery industry market competition advantage. In recent years, China's textile machinery industry faced with the intense market competition, the technical level and the product quality had the remarkable promotion by unceasing the technical improvement and the technical innovation.This paper reviewed the development history of China's textile machinery industry, and carried on the scientific analysis to the factor of enhancing the industry competitiveness by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (Analytic Hierarchy Process, called the AHP) based on the research on the development status, the industry comparative advantage and the competitive advantage for China's textile machinery industry, thus proposed the suggestion of exploiting the comparative advantages and enhancing competitive advantage. This article hoped the textile machinery industry must first clearly recognize oneself, know the enemy and know yourself. In an open market economy conditions, comprehensively, correctly, and clearly recognized China's textile machinery industry's comparative advantages and competitive advantages in order to make full use of that advantage.
