The Research Of Exxonmobil For Fund Management And Its Influence To Chinese Companies

Accounting to my working experience in ExxonMobil HK/PRC Treasury department, I did the research about the management methods about cash management, affiliate finance, and financing which are used by ExxonMobil treasury department. The major purpose of this research is to provide some useful knowledge about fund management to Chinese companies.The essay has four parts. Firstly, the essay introduces the company, ExxonMobil, and its specific methods in fund management. Secondly, the essay talks about some general components of fund management, which including contents of treasury function, the important influence of fund management, and how to improve company's fund management. Thirdly, the essay analyzes further about fund management in ExxonMobil. The whole fund management includes three parts,which are cash management, financial risk management, and financing or capital structure. In the essay, I will analyze these three parts one by one. Last but not least, the essay analyzes the current situation of fund management in Chinese companies. Basing on these analyses, I provide some suggestions to Chinese companies about what could be learned from ExxonMobil, and how to use these fund management skills in its practices.
