Chongming Island Tourism Environmental Carrying Capacity And Environmental Management Of Tourist Destinations To Study

Since the 1980s, the last century, the tourism industry promote the rapid development of China's economy into the 21st century, Tourism has also been given the "sunrise industry", a title that compared with other industries. Tourism is an environment-friendly industry, the natural, social and economic damage to the environment in the smaller, with the continuous development of tourism, tourist market continues to expand. The tourism is also increasing the size and scope of activities, tourism and the tourism industry to the water, air, soils, geology, topography, flora and fauna and biodiversity, the ecological system, and even the impact of social-economic environment of tourist destination has become increasingly prominent.The impact of tourism on the environment has a positive and a negative, in order to accurately assess the relationship between tourism and the environment, management of the environmental impact of tourism, we need to find a method to measure the relationship between tourism and the environment, also need to establish a more practical tourism environmental management system. For the study, quantitative analysis of the tourism environmental carrying capacity of the Chongming Island, and use it as the basis to establish an environmental management system of Chongming Island.By calculating tourism environmental carrying capacity of Chongming Island, this paper has come to the following conclusions of tourism environment of Chongming Island:(1) At present, Chongming Island tourism environmental carrying capacity, from the perspective of the average, is at a low level,but the carrying capacity of solid waste has already been overloads.(2) Hotels, scenic areas have received daily to meet the needs of tourism, but the reception of hotels are overloads when the tourism season comes.(3) The inland traffic is excellent, but outside the island the traffic has volatile transportation capacity;(4) The majority of residents are optimistic about tourism, they give warm welcome to the tourists who come from outside of the island.(5) In Golden Weeks, Chongming Island tourism environmental carrying capacity is almost saturated, and the QianWei Village even has been overloads.(6) In spatial dimension of Chongming Island, the limit factor of tourism industry is: solid waste, the capacity of tourists reception in QianWei Village, hotel reception and out-island transportation in tourism season.According to the status of the tourism environmental carrying capacity of Chongming Island, and with other socio-economic factors, this paper establishes a comprehensive environmental management system of tourist destination from two dimensions which are time and space for Chongming Island. Referring the PDCA method of quantity management, this paper also establishes the processes and the emphases of environmental management of tourist destination in Chongming Island.The time scale environmental management of tourist destination aimed at Chongming Island tourism under the various stages of development of scenic spots, from the early, mid, late, three stages of management. The environmental management of tourist destination in spatial scales is from a regional perspective, to coordinate the comprehensive factors of the tourism environment of Chongming Island, and as the adding of time scales of the environmental management of tourist destination.Finally, combining the development of tourism and tourism environmental carrying capacity of Chongming Island, this paper makes the following recommendations:(1) Enhancing the tourism product marketing and the carrying capacity of the scenic spot.(2) Enhancing the easement of tourists flow in the tourism season and reducing the stress of the tourism environmental carrying capacity at the peak period. (3) Coordinating the traffic to prepare for the construction of Hu-Chong-Su expressway.(4) Improving the investment and education environment, striving to improve the quality of traveling jobholders in Chongming Island.(5) Enhancing the research of tourism environmental carrying capacity of Chongming Island and establishing the tourism environmental management system.
