The rural labor migration decision is affected by a lot of factors, such as: age, gender, policy, education, and etc. The paper makes use of the 2005'investigation data collected from the Yang Zhou's peasant households to analyze the factors of rural labor migration on the basis of empirical research. And then, on the foundation of it, we analyze the factors to determine the wage income. Finally, we put forward the relative proposals of policy about the rural labor migration and wage income.The paper is divided into seven parts:The first part is the introduction which briefly introduces the significance of choosing the topic, the research methodology, the basic framework and the main contents of this thesis. Also several related terms are defined in this part.The second part is literature review. The paper summarizes the researches of rural labor migration and wage determination, which pays the foundation for the following research. Also, this part, which evaluates the two aspects in brief, establishes the theoretical foundation for the research direction and the research means.The third part makes analysis in the feature of five county's migrated rural labor, mainly from two aspects: one is the feature of economy society and the other is employment. The data originate from the investigation of Yang Zhou's peasant households.The forth part makes theoretical analysis in the factors which affect the rural labor migration, mainly from three aspects: one is region, another is feature of individual and the other is policy.The firth part carries on the empirical analysis about the factors to determine rural labor migration in term of 2005'investigation data collected from Yang Zhou's peasant households. And from that we can get the conclusion which factor is the most important one.The sixth part mainly analyzes the wage determination of peasant households.
