Based on the theories of economics, management, sociology, and organizational behavior, the current study analyzes the management pattern and its forming process of family firm Z from a dynamic perspective, further proposes a relatively comprehensive theoretical model regarding the management pattern of family firms. The theoretical significance of the current study will be discussed.The salient traits of the initial period of China market economy system may be summarized as small sizes of corporations, restricted development in the host country, personal involvement of family members, public financing difficulty of mid- and small enterprises, imperfect legal system, opaque accounting system, short history of stock market's development and so on.. However, family firms would win more space for their own growth in terms of the abovementioned imperfect economic environment.Family firm Z in this article is very representative.In terms of the analysis in the characteristic, development trend and operational system of Family firm Z, the author has summarized the success and failure experiences, clarified the relations between the qualifications of entrepreneurs and the family benefits and the development of family firms, deeply investigated entrepreneurs' perceptions regarding management patterns, and discovered the conditions and rules of family business innovation. These findings have paved the way for family firms' restarting, government decision-making and the development of family business in a theoretical base.Taking the management pattern of family firm Z as an example, the main issues covered in this article are related to the analysis of operational characteristic, adaptation conditions, the systematic flaw, the evaluation system, and influencing factors of innovation of management patters of family firms. In addition, this article further clarifies the social and systematical conditions regarding two kinds of transition, that is, one from personally social transaction network to non-personally system transaction and the other from the non-standard management system to the modernized hierarchy. The author attempts to propose specific propositions regarding the transitions from the "establishment structure" to "developmental structure", the scientific policy fit in modern companies, and the solid base of restarting a family firm. Moreover, this article articulates the role and functions of the government in the development of modernized family firms and predicts the developmental trends of family firms.The practical solutions, which are related to property, stockholders' right, management, inform policy, and business pattern, will be proposed in detail.
