On the basis of previous research, this thesis, we combined the attitudinal theroy with the behavioral theroy of organizational commitment (OC), conducted a research of employees' OC in a big enterprise in Jiangsu province by means of questionnaire. We suggested some proposal through the questionnaire:1,The employees' OC have two aspects: Attitudinal commitment and behavioral commitment. Attitudinal commitment consists of four factors: Ideal Commitment, Affective Commitment, Normative Commitment and Continuance Commitment; And there are two factors in behavioral commitment: making extra efforts and devotion oneself to enterprise.2,There is significant correlation between attitudinal commitment and behavioral commitment. The employees' affective commitment play the most important role with the behavioral commitment, later, the normative commitment and the ideal commitment. And the continuance commitment have no significant correlation with behavioral commitment.3,In the thesis, two factors, the job position and shared vision, affect the whole organizational commitment significantly. Age, the length of service, marriage and educational degree have significant effects on continuance commitment. The employees who have Job-hopping more than 3 times have higer devotion than the employees who have no experience. This is different with the traditional viewpoint.4,We suggest 4 points for the human resource management of the enterprise, which based on the characters of employees' OC. The enterprise need to build its own culture and strength its leadal fuction, need to establish the system of recruiment on the basis of its value, need to train the employees to actualize themselves in their career development, need to carry out effective measures to protect the employees' job-security.
