With the globalization of market and economy ,the management philosophy based on single enterprise can't win the competition any more .therefore ,the traditional management is changed and gradually substituted by the horizontal management model SCM(Supply Chain Management) that based on the extended enterprise is the right typical new management model, which manages all enterprises in the supply chain properly in order to obtain the maximum benefit of the total supply chain .The appearance of SCM indicates new development direction for the traditional inventory control .in recent years, inventory cost and improving service level, that is becoming a hotspot not only in the research of the theory but also in the practice of the enterprises.Currently, the company of rankuum chengdu of china comes up against a series problems of inventory control for spare parts. The traditional inventory control pattern based on a single node can't satisfy the requirement of development strategy increasingly . The company of rankuum chengdu of china has formed the spare parts system and demands the guidance of inventory control philosophy based on SCM imminently.This thesis studies the theories of SCM and related technology on the background of the spare parts system of the company of rankuum chengdu of china. It explores the classification methods of the company's spare parts and presents a strategy of "Multi-echelon Inventory Jointly Management based on concerted center " for the company. Based on that strategy, the paper improves the business process of the company . At last, the paper designs and develops an inventory control information system based on that strategy.
