| TaiAn Hoisting Machinery Factory (THMF) belongs to Shandong Construction Machinery Group Co. LTD. It is one of the core competitive members of the group. THMF was set up in 1972 and it is a national certified key factory of truck crane Industry with a fixed investment capital amount to RMB120 Million. It has more than 1500 employees and average annual revenue around RMB300 Million. THMF is a typical middle scale engineering mechanical enterprise. It ranks number four in the Chinese truck crane Industry market. In the past it had good performance in this industry and contributed a lot to China mechanical equipment manufacturing. THMF experienced the golden and depressed period of Chinese truck crane Industry.THMF was burdened heavily debts during the industry depression period from 1994 to 1998. It was released from the depression of recent several years by lots of government investment. But accumulated historical debts, accumulated of retired employee compensation, shortage of capital, and out of age manufacturing equipment, are all key reasons of the company's poor performance in profit and revenue increase. But besides that, the most important reason for poor performance and profit is poor management skill and unclear roadmap of the company development. Based on all of the above situations, in order to change the current status and make profit, the essential and effective way is to make a complete change in organization and investment composition, to invent a clear enterprise development strategy, and to evaluate the strategy in detail.
