Shanghai Logistics And Economic Relations Between Time Series Model

In the past years, logistics has become more and more important in the society and the impact of logistics on the economy has gained more and more attention by governments and researchers. The relationship between logistics and economic growth has become one of the most important research topics in the field of logistics management. After reading the related literatures, we made the research on the following aspects:the relationship between the logistics capability and economic growth in Shanghai.the relationship between the logistics demands as also as supplies and the economic growth in Shanghai.In this study, we apply the Econometric methods of time series strucure, unit root test, co-integration test and the test of Granger Causality, ECM and lag models to figure out the exact relationship between logistics and economic growth in Shanghai. Based on the foregone researches on logistics management and economic growth theories as well as data from almanacs of Shanghai city (from 2000 till 2005) , we want to get some results. According to our econometric analyses we try to make clear whether there are mutual relationships between logistics and economic growth in Shanghai and to manifest how it does.This thesis focuses on the demonstration analysis of the relationship between modern logistics and the economic growth of Shanghai. For the mechanism that modern logistics and economy influence each other, researchers have raised several different kinds of theory. Through the time series analysis of relation between logistics and economic growth of Shanghai's from 1952 to 2004 in this article, we can find the actual relationship of Shanghai's logistics and economic growth and finally establish the models that reflect these actual relationships.
