Trust and investment Corporations as the representatives of China Trust have experienced five major revamp for 20 years. These corporations gradually transferred from a high degree of mixing banking business model" to professional entrusted financial institutions and began to offer trustee services after business adjustability. With the rapid growth of the national economy and the accumulation of social wealth, asset management market is developing rapidly. Trust and investment corporations, banks, security companies, insurance companies, fund management companies have issued their own financial products in order to scrambling financial markets and acquiring business incomes.Shandong International Trust and Investment Corporation(STIC) is engaged in various entrusted businesses as the largest local non-banking financial institutions of Shandong Province. Set up 10 years ago, she manages 100 billion assets, investments 1,000 projects and has outstanding achievements. In the new economic situation, in order to compete in many financial products, it is necessary for her to conduct thorough study of competitive strategy choose appropriate competitive strategy of her own.his paper will use standardized combination of theoretical and empirical research methods. In principle, this paper mainly exercises Porter's theory of competitive strategy. In practice, this paper collects a lot of data from trust industry, analyzes current macroeconomic and industry environment faced by China's trust industry and uses methods of PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. According to STIC's natural resources and core competence, this paper will select STIC's discrepant competitive strategy and put forward safeguard procedures to implement STIC's discrepant competitive strategy.The analysis reveals that STIC has superior resources and good development space. STIC need to increase discrepancy of product, brand, market and price through product innovation, market propagandization and internal management aggrandizement.This paper makes STIC as a research model and discusses competitive strategies of trust and investment corporation .It has a certain value and practical significance. Studying STIC's competitive strategies will benefit to the development of other trust and investment corporations and trust industry.
