| Ocean shipping is the important component to the world economy and our national economy. It transports 80-90 percentage cargo of the world trade. With the construction of market economy and the extension of overseas trade, our shipping market will open out much more than before, and the shipping enterprises will approach the world market. Face to the austere baptism, our shipping enterprises charter ship regularly in order to adapting to different demand, adjusting the capital structure and increasing the profit.However, there are few studies about the financial decision-making of charter party, while more researches focus on the charter contract and practices. In addition, there are some special characteristics in charter party, such as massive bankroll, long recover period, managerial flexibilities, uncertain factors and so on, which lead charter decision to face more difficulties. Therefore, how to make a correct and effective charter decision is an important issue to the shipping enterprises.Based on the characteristic of charter party, this article analyzed and elaborated systematically and dynamically on the issue of charter decision-making on the view of shipping enterprises.Firstly, this paper analyzed the actuality of ship charter decision-making and their limitations; Secondly, after analyzing the necessity of the ship lease .introduced different mode of charter, such as voyage charter, time charter, demise charter and so on and the affect to ship charter decision-making; Thirdly, the author analyzed the affect factor to the charter decision making; Fourthly, researched the methods of financial decision making on ship charter considering the fleet as a whole, then to make decisions on ship mould , tonnage , number, financing pattern; Finally, summarized the whole article.Apart from all of these, this paper provides the foundation for applying the... |
