China logistics market will change soon.In shanghai, the sound development of Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone has also become a hotspot. Many famous 3PL entered the area and at the same time, a lot of media-small logistics companies are leaping everyday, including a lot of traditionally operated storage enterprises. But with poor management tools and human resources, currently they have not enough survival and developing space in the 3PL market with fierce competition. So they are in great need of strategic improvement. This is why the issue is put forward.On the basis of the theory of 3PL, the supply-demand structure of Shanghai 3PL market, the current situation of Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and the case of W enterprise, the article studied the strategic issues of storage companies who desperately need to develop 3PL services by the aid of SWOT.In the end, the article offered some proper suggestions through the strategic analysis. The suggestions cover all-around issues of the operation and development of traditional storage companies from the strategic point of view such as the choice of operation mode, the orientation of clients and service styles and the choice of competition strategy to the operation aspects including the improvement of the management tool, the automatization and informationization of warehouses, the optimization of operation flow and so on. |
