Since the later of the 70's of the last century, foreign banks in China has a gradually development. With the deepening reform in the economic and banking sectors and the continuous development of the opening policy, foreign banks speed up to enter the domestic banking market and their management strategy has also had some changes.They will possess more significant position in China. It is true that the entering of foreign banks is a "two blades sword". On the one hand,the entering of foreign banks will improve the development and perfection of financial market and attract more foreign capital. On the other hand, the entering of foreign banks also is able to bring some negative affects such as impact on the financial safety and bring some danger for the financial safety.It mainly manifests the factors of the bank competition, system impact and policy disturbance.By employing the research method of combining theory with practice,the article closely links them with China's realistic situation.The promoting tactics of foreign banks in China is explored by using the logic thinking from macro to micro,and from, generality to individual.The article analyzes the present situation of foreign banks in China. By utilizing the principles of economics and banking and through two respects analysis of the benefit and the cost to foreign banks,there is a comprehensive analysis of the synthetic effect to the economy and finance of our country.The article puts forword some valid measures to promote the healthful development of foreign banks.In a word,we must take the effective counter-measures. At the same time,we need accelerate the reform of state-run commercial banks and strengthen the financial supervision to foreign banks to make foreign banks serve economic construction of our country better.
