The Macroeconomic Effects Of China's Foreign Trade Of Agricultural Products

This paper based on the macro-economic importance of China's foreign trade of agricultural products on the background of economic globalization. It examine the objective reality of foreign trade and macroeconomic and the related research, use the theories and methods of macroeconomics, international trade, agricultural economics and econometrics comprehensively, then define the basic areas of this study and the analysis point. This paper also define and explain the concept of agricultural products and the macroeconomic effects of foreign trade to reveal their mutual relations and conduction mechanism. This paper finally use the history and the measurement test methods to study the relationship of China's agricultural trade and macroeconomic factors from the quantitative evidence then interpretate the findings and propose policy recommendations.There is cointegration relationship between China's foreign trade of agricultural products and the gross domestic product and also the gross value of agricultural production, the agricultural exports are reasons of agricultural economic growth. There is cointegration relationship between China's foreign trade of agricultural products and the non-agricultural employment, the agricultural imports and exports are reasons of the non-agricultural employment growth. There is cointegration relationship between China's agricultural exports and the residents earnings, the agricultural exports are reasons of residents earnings growth. The agricultural foreign trade development can not only depends on agricultural economic development but also on non-agricultural industrial economy, it can also not rely solely on the size and quantity of agricultural trade expansion, but rather through the structure adjustment of foreign trade of agricultural products and industrial restructuring to promote rural-urban linkage then achieve a harmonious society as a whole macro-economic rapid development of science.
