Research On Henan Province Highway Management System

By the end of 2009, the total mileage in Henan province had reached 48.6 kilometers, which was the top in China as four consecutive years with a real increase, and the development of road net had helped develop sustained, rapid and sound development of the national economy. The construction and management of highways are various and quite complicated with such rapid development. Situated in the Central Plain and center of China, Henan province boasts apparently advantageous traffic location, and its mileage ranks first in the country for four consecutive years. A common saying likes that "Good traffic in Henan equals to good traffic in the whole country", so it's very important to study on the expressway management system, which will play an important role to bring notable benefits.Along with the quick development of the expressway, it has its own regularity, which is also affected by external factors, including the design of it. This essay analyzed the basic attributes of expressway bases on economics theory. Learn from experience and explore models both home and abroad, try to provide reference to solve problems like too many multi-layers management, and try to enhance the ability and efficiency of law enforcement, and do my best to establish the efficiency and modern mode of expressways management.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the theoretical overview. First, I describe the concept of highway. Second, I introduce the content of the highway management briefly, then I explain the definition of highway management system.The second part conducts a comparative analysis to the status quo of highway Development both home and abroad.The third part carries on the careful specification which analyses present situation of the Henan Province on the highway management system.The fourth part I submit countermeasure suggestion about innovation on Henan expressway management system. Finally, my conclusions are as follows:More and more marketable modes are being adopted on the expressway's construction and operating.
