Study Of Technological Innovation Capability

Stepping in the 21st century, we witness the development of economic globalization and science technology, and technology innovation has become the key factor which determines the corporation to win or lose in market competition. Practice worldwide tells that technology innovation is the source of economic development, the power of company to obtain the competitive advantages and realize the sustainable development. Median and small sized enterprises whose important functions both in upgrading the business competition ability and promoting the transition of economic development mode are widely accepted make up the significant power in the development of national economy. Especially in the process of building an innovative country, technology innovation ability and business technology are continually improving, these enterprises also take a unique role. We need a good understanding of the meaning of company technology innovation ability and to manage the effect and movement of innovation work leading the company to improve its ability, which calls for our timely and effective solution.Given the sample of 68 median and small sized high-tech enterprises, we seek to study their technology innovation conditions and to build a model of the innovation ability system from a dynamic ability angle by interviewing in a deep-going way. We focus on the following questions:What's the of technology innovation ability? Is there any special feature? What makes up the innovation ability and how to build the system? What about the current situation of technology innovation in median and small sized high-tech enterprises? Is the ability affected by any factors?In this paper, we firstly sum up the existed theory at home and abroad. Then we explain the meaning of company's technology innovation ability which is a kind of quality to arrange the resources inside and outside corporation and to keep a lasted ability to innovate in order to satisfy or create the market demand and finally make profit. To brush the blank of research on hand, we build the system model of enterprise's technology innovation ability in which we distinguish the ability as knowledge,study,and arrangement ability, resource and output ability. Finally, we describe the sample companies'trade distribution and company scale by interviewing the entrepreneurs and then do an empirical analysis on their innovation situation. We find that government support, business district, market environment and resource planning ability all account much for the technology innovation behavior. At the basis of research above, we come up the suggestion to improve the ability by building outside innovation environment, cultivating talent, establishing learning mechanism, and arranging resources.
