| Many companies of chinese construction machinery industry have become international and large group type business corporations, such as sany group corporation and xcmg group corporation. Because corporation groups have complex orgnazation frameworks and great business, they must depend on information system to support their development. Some ERP systems used by many corporation groups are suited for single firms. They can not help group type corporations strengthen their power in controlling subsidiary companies, and also can not support the international business and management of corporation groups. A problem that construction machinery corporation groups must select the ERP system matched with them has to be solved.From matching the software with the demands of construction machinery group corporations, the paper presented to apply a method called ERP-ICEM. The aim is to solve the problem that construction machinery group corporations choose the right ERP selection method. According to this method and analysis of main foreign ERP softwares, a group corporation can make a right decision in selecting ERP.The First part introduced simply core management theory and general situation of ERP. Then methods of selecting ERP used by construction machinery group corporations are described.The second part analyses deeply through three aspects of demands that construction machinery group corporations apply ERP software to the current managing situation. The aspects are stratagem management, operation management and maintenance of the EPR system.In the next part, functions and capability of three mainstream foreign EPR softwares are analysed and compared.Then common six methods used in ERP selection are researched with the comparative method, such as analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy synthetical estimation, and etc. The ERP-ICEM method matching a software with corporations'demand is recommended and discribed in detail.At last, the paper put forward the demonstration study to the ERP selection of the sany group corporation using the ERP-ICEM method.The ERP-ICEM method is based in matching information system with coporations'management system. It is a good evaluation tool to construction machinery group corporations. It can not only be used in ERP selection, but also is helpful to uncover corporations'problems by evaluation. This method will help group corporations to promote the great effect on improving informatization and management. |
