| Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) is an important channel of advanced international technology.Multinational corporation invests to other countries,especially developing countries,in order to obtain greater benefit and development countries have also introduced a lot of preferential policies to attract more foreign investment in order to get more technology spillover effect.Since the reform and opening up of China, favored by many multinational companies, attracted a large number of foreign investment. Shandong Province to attract foreign investment is always the forefront of the country. Especially Shandong Peninsula Region has a geographical advantage,gathered more than two-thirds of foreign investment of Shandong Province. In 2003,the Shandong Province government proposed the construction of Shandong Peninsula Manufacturing Base. This paper uses Shandong Peninsula manufacturing as the study object, and analyzes the influence of the technology spillover effect to Shandong Peninsula region manufacturing economic development.Based on eight cities of Shandong Peninsula region economic development and the ability of attracting foreign investment, has estimated independent R&D technology knowledge stock. According to the strength of independent R&D, analyzed municipalities'ability of attracting foreign investment and absorbing technology spillovers.Empirical analysis is divided into two parts. The first part does not consider the technology knowledge stock, the second part considers the technology knowledge stock. Two parts are analyzed separately. Considered the technology knowledge stock can analysis more accurately to the effect of technology knowledge stock to Shandong Peninsula economic development.Combined with quantitative and qualitative methods, and on the basis of the empirical results, proposed substantive policy proposals in order to abtain more technology spillover effect and promote economic development of Shandong Peninsula region. |
