More and more international organizations have came into existence and played a great role in world politics after the Second World War. IMF and World Bank, as two inter-government organizations, are correlated and become the pillars of global economic governance. As the world economy has gradually became interdependent, IMF and World Bank made great efforts to cooperate and established a series of coordination mechanisms, in order to improve policy cohesion , avoid policy conflict, and make a rational use of resources, then enhance the stabilization and development of the global economy. This paper enumerated the coordination mechanisms at different levels between IMF and World Bank by studying the conditions on their loans, identified three factors that can exert an influence on these mechanisms, and concluded that one of the most important agendas of the two organizations is to integrate these mechanisms.
