With the development of computing, communication and storage on micro-electronics in these years, these devices can form a new kind of network by the short-range protocol named Mobile Peer to Peer Network. Query processing plays a very important role in this network. Among mobile P2P network, how to organize data to build a database decides the application in this kind of network. Broadcast can not effectively deal with the query processing in the network, this paper proposes non-spatial-temporal query algorithm based on resource splitting and spatial-temporal query processing algorithm based on query region splitting, these algorithms improve the efficiency of data management in the Mobile Peer to Peer network. This paper based on the research in this field proposes some new algorithm and ideas as follows:1) We research the simulation platform in sensor network and network research area. This paper designs and implements a new simulation platform to accurately model the query processing in the Mobile Peer to Peer network.2) The main issue in the mobile peer to peer network research field is data management. The data in the MP2P network is composed by non-spatial-temporal data and spatial-temporal data. Non-spatial-temporal data has many special features such as target user not sure and existing period not sure etc. We propose a new algorithm based on the resource type--Query Process Strategy Based on Resource Type. With this method, we improve the query processing efficiency and lower the cost during the processing.3) With the spatial-temporal, this paper designs a new algorithm based on splitting of the query area to improve the efficiency and accuracy of spatial-temporal query. To conclude, the research of this paper can be applied to data management in mobile peer to peer network, mobile phone ad-hoc network, mobile sensor network and vehicle ad-hoc network. And the algorithms in this paper improve the application in military, transport management, environment monitor, anti-terrorism and daily life.
